Forum: GratefulDead Subject: PHIL RECOMMENDS: February 17, 1982...?

i am reading the david gans collection of his interviews with the band and associates, "conversations with the dead."

in one piece gans and phil both cite this warfield show as being extra-specially good:

gans: on that night "there were visible signs of ecstasy"

phil: "yeah. man, it was good"...etc.

i am checking it out the "fire" now and it sounds good, the board on the archive is really high quality....

but i am asking you FOLKS that are INTO THESE YEARS, what say you? is this one of the killer '82 sets?....the setlist looks uninspiring to me but....like i said....it sounds good so far....
